The Ingleton Outdoor Swimming Pool is located in the heart of Ingleton, North Yorkshire. Their open-air 20-metre heated pool is in an idyllic place to visit and one of the few remaining outdoor pools in the UK.

Ingleton Outdoor Swimming Pool Overview

They are said to be one of the UK’s best lido’s. Their aim is to provide an enjoyable, fun and relaxed environment for all the family. The pool was originally dug out and built by a team of volunteers in 1933. They are now a registered charity and all monies raised are put back into the running of the pool.

You can even hire their pool out privately for a party. They are located down the hill from Ingleton Youth Hostel in a riverside setting. There is no parking but there is parking available throughout the village.

They are very popular on warm sunny days so make sure you get there early. They may run coloured wristband sessions during busier times. They offer various swim sessions including swimming lessons for children.
