The museum has moved from its old location and is now up-to-date with a modern cafe area that is built around the frontage of the historic Doncaster High School for girls. There is also a new library for adults and children and a museum.
Downstairs there is a Rail Heritage Centre with two large steam engines and a few pieces of railway memorabilia. Off from this room, you will find the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Museum.
