Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park

Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park

The Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is on the coast in Gwbert, Cardigan, North Wales. It is named for its spectacular views across Cardigan Island. This unique farm park overlooks the Teifi estuary and Pembrokeshire. It is considered one of the best places in Wales to view seals in their natural habitat.

Cardigan Bay is also home to the only resident population of bottle-nosed dolphins in English and Wales waters so keep your eye out for them. There is even a campsite so you can stay on-site. The farm has a variety of friendly farm animals, some of which can be fed by hand. There are goats, sheep, ponies, cattle, pigs, birds, llamas, wallabies and more.

The farm park has an adventure playground with swings, a slide and a sandpit. Budding footballers can take aim at their farm-themed shoot-and-score game. Indoors there is a construction zone. There is a tractor-trailer taxi to the seal viewpoint – this operates from the Spring Bank holiday until September 30th. It departs every day apart from Saturday and there is a small charge to use the service.
