Elsecar Heritage Centre
Elsecar Heritage Centre is a living history centre set within the attractive 18th-century conservation village of Elsecar in South Yorkshire. It banks onto a historic train line.
What can you do at Elsecar Heritage Centre?
Inside the centre, you will find tea rooms, a soft play area, toy shops, a museum shops and studios. It is built on the site of industrial workshops that date back to the 1800s. The centre usually offers a range of craft workshops and seasonal, child-friendly activities. Playmania is the indoor soft play area within the centre. This is a playframe with slides, a ball pool, a soft sports court and an area for toddlers.
In Elsecar itself you will find a large adventure playground and access to the reservoir and nature reserve. Make sure you take some duck food as there is usually plenty to feed. You will also find a large sandpit, pitch and putt and crazy golf.
