Acton Scott Historic Working Farm

Acton Scott Historic Working Farm

Acton Scott Farm is a historic Victorian working farm with shire horses and daily demonstrations in Acton Scott, Shropshire. The farm once featured as the setting for the BBC’s popular program ‘Victorian Farm’.

At the farm, you will see and learn about traditional 19th-century farm life. The land is worked by heavy horses which you also get to see during your visit. As well as daily activities the farm holds special annual events.

Daily demonstrations include talks from the Wheelwright, the Farrier and the Blacksmith. There are plenty of farm animals, to see including rare breeds. The farm is relatively small but provides an interesting look at how farming used to be. You can also join in daily tours around the farm.
