Puzzlewood is a magical family-friendly attraction near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. You can explore the mysterious wood and meet the animals, and kids can play in the outdoor playground and indoor maze.
Things to do at Puzzlewood review
From aliens to ancient Scowles, wizards to wildlife their unique and ancient woodland is an inspiration to authors and storytellers. In Puzzlewood you will see twisted trees in an otherworldly woodland through a mile and a half of paths, bridges, steps and lookout points. They even have an app you can download and a guide where you can seek and tick off 20 objects, places and faces. The app features a treasure hunt for Roman coins.
There are a variety of animals, to meet at Puzzlewood including goats, donkeys, ponies, highland cattle, sheep and more. Some are native and rare breeds. Their play area is a wooden obstacle course-type circuit for kids. The indoor mazes are a myriad of secret doors, dead ends and ups and downs. To escape you need to find nine hidden animal pictures that will lead you to the exit.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic. There are picnic tables, picnics are not permitted in the woodland.

What are the ticket prices?
An adult ticket costs £9.50, children 3-16 £8.00 and children under 3 are free. Other pricing options including family tickets are available.
