A great hotel in the TUI BLUE for families collection is the TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess. This hotel goes big on child-friendly features and a beach can be found across a pedestrian road. The hotel is located a short walk from the centre of Kalives Village in Halkidiki, Greece. Kalives is situated in a wide-mouthed bay and has one of the longest beaches in mainland Greece. Thessaloniki Airport is a 45-minute coach transfer away from the hotel.
Highlights
There are four pools which are all surrounded by spacious terraces with loungers and parasols. For little ones, there is a shaded paddling pool and also a splash pool that comes with a fun tow boat, slides and fountains. Indoors there is a swimming pool which is heated in May and October.
This hotel has a focus on wellbeing. The Healthy Eating Challenge encourages youngsters to try new foods. The hotel also has professionally run swimming lessons and family wellbeing classes. It is set in a peaceful spot with a sprawling setting. On the long sweeping sandy beach, you will find watersports and beach games.

Your Board Basis
The board at the Lagoon Princess is all-inclusive. This includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. One a la carte meal at the Green and Grills restaurant plus the Greek Taverna is included per one-week stay. Also included are snacks at set times and local alcoholic and soft drinks from 9 a.m. until midnight The buffet restaurant has a section especially for kid’s dishes.
When kids try new dishes they are given stickers to add to their lanyard for every healthy dish they try. Around the hotel, there are a few bars including a pool and beach bar.
Additional Activities
There are plenty of sports facilities including tennis, a basketball court, beach volleyball and table tennis. Dedicated sports and activity hosts are on hand to organise a wide range of family-focused games, activities and sports. Kids aged 3-11 can take part in movement and dance sessions.
There is also a swim school for ages 4-7, 5-9 and one for all ages. Activities are run in the daytime for kids aged 4-12 and there is also a playground. The modern spa has a sauna and steam bath plus there is a gym. You can hire out baby equipment and take part in parent and toddler sessions.
Entertainment
Children aged 3-11 can take part in the kid’s clubs. These offer two hours of themed activities, six days a week. These are split into different age groups with Minis for 3-5-year-olds and Maxis for 6-11 years. Most activities are included and are run by TUI-trained staff with all the relevant checks.
For teens aged 12-15, they can make use of the Hangout. This is their own space away from adults and younger siblings. They can take part in daily activities as well as an evening session once a week. Plus there is a baby club open six days a week for 0-36 months where TUI-trained staff are on hand to look after your little ones for a couple of hours. Your little ones can also learn to cook at their fun cooking classes.

All hotel rooms have a balcony or a terrace plus wi-fi, air-conditioning, a TV and more. Why not upgrade to a swim-up family room, or there are junior suites, deluxe duplex suites with a private pool and 2 bedroom family rooms with the possible addition of a jacuzzi?
