Feel like a rock star at the Hard Rock Hotel in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. At this hotel, you can star in your own music video, learn how to DJ and order room service from your own spa tub. Every inch oozes the rock star treatment and there are family-friendly areas as well as areas just for adults. All rooms have a minibar and spa tub plus 24/7 room service and a balcony.
Located on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula you can do nothing but lounge on a tropical beach all day. We recommend that you also take time to explore as there are Mayan ruins, eco-parks, world-class diving and more nearby. The hotel is located in the Puerto Aventura area with a marina, restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Cancun airport is a 90-minute coach transfer from the hotel.
Highlights
This hotel has a seriously impressive array of pools. There are six in total all of which are close to the beach. There is a huge pool that often has daytime activities. Kids have their own pool with music, activities and snacks. Plus there is the Rockaway Bay Water Park with slides for bigger kids and adults. The minimum height for the slides is 3ft 5in and under 8s need to be accompanied by an adult. Adults have their own pool plus there is a scuba pool and a dive pool.

Your Board Basis
The board at this hotel is on an all-inclusive basis. This includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus a la carte dining, snacks at set times and 24-hour room service. Also included are selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The buffet has an around-the-world theme plus there is a Steakhouse, an Italian, a Mexican and a Japanese. There are also a number of bars some of which are swim-ups.
Additional Activities
On-site there is the Hard Rock 18-hole championship golf course. In the hotel’s Music LAB (prebooking required) you can spin some records on the DJ decks, star in your own music video, play one of four instruments or be the lead singer. Other activities include watersports, snorkelling, fender guitar hire and there is a jogging track. Plus you can enjoy a game of tennis. The Rock Spa is one of the biggest in the area with 50 treatment rooms, steam rooms and a hydrotherapy pool.
Entertainment
In the daytime, there is the Hard Rock Roxity Kids’ Club which hosts lots of activities, games, crafts and music. In the evening there are West-End style shows in the theatre and elsewhere there are live bands and a disco with a DJ.

All of their rooms have a balcony, Wi-Fi, tea or coffee-making facilities and a TV. Slippers, bathrobes and a minibar also come as standard. Their Deluxe gold double rooms sleep up to 4 people. Plus there are a few other room types that can sleep up to 4. The hotel has family rooms and 2-bedroom suites that can sleep up to 6 people.
