Located close to the seafront is the Zafiro Menorca. Everything at this hotel is made with families in mind. The closest beach is a 10-minute walk away which is a sandy number in a sheltered inlet. On the way to the beach, there is a restaurant-lined marina which is the main area of Cala’n Bosch. This resort was purpose-built in the Eighties. It has an easy-going pace of life with whitewashed villas and the marina as its focal point. Menorca Airport is a 105-minute transfer away by coach. As well as the restaurants at the marina there is also a small selection of bars and restaurants plus a supermarket just 200m away.
Highlights
The hotel’s main swimming pool is shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head and features a bar on the water’s edge. Children can have fun in the splash park which is ideal for little ones. It has a pirate ship with a tipping bucket and 5 flumes. There is also an indoor pool which is heated during May and October.

Your Board Basis
There are a number of packages to choose from. These include Bed and Breakfast, Self-catering, Half-board plus and all-inclusive. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are snacks at set times plus selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. In the buffet restaurant, you can enjoy themed nights and show cooking. Plus there is a snack bar and a cocktail bar.
Additional Activities
This hotel has a great range of additional facilities. There is a colourful outdoor playground, table tennis, archery, bike hire and rifle shooting. Plus aerobics, darts, petanque, a PADI scuba diving school and a daytime activity programme. For adults, there is a gym, spa and treatments.
Entertainment
For children, there is a Miniclub which is aimed at children aged 4-7. Here they can enjoy arts and crafts, team games, sports, movie nights and more. This runs from the beginning of May until mid-October. Then for children aged 8-11, there is the Maxi Club which has similar activities. Teens also have their own club for ages 12-17 where they can enjoy a range of sporting activities, arts, crafts and movie nights.
In the evenings you can enjoy family-friendly entertainment. Shows are put on by the hotel as well as professional shows, karaoke, live music and quizzes.
Room Options
All of the 1 bedroom apartments have a balcony or a terrace, a kitchenette, lounge and air-conditioning. You can add on extras such as express check-in or upgrade to a ‘privilege’ apartment which comes complete with sunbeds, a parasol and a hammock in the private garden. One-bedroom apartments can sleep 2-4 people and you can even upgrade to a swim-up room.
