The new-look Iberostar Selection Alubfera Park is located on Majorca’s north coast and benefits from direct access to one of the island’s best beaches. This is Blue Flag badge beach with shallow waters perfect for families. From the hotel, you can catch a bus to Alcudia which has a great selection of bars and restaurants. This transfer takes around 20 minutes. Near the hotel there is a supermarket and a short drive away you will find the Natural de s’Albufera de Mallorca Nature Reserve. Palma Airport is a 60-minute coach transfer to the hotel.
Highlights
On-site there are three pools with plenty of space for parasols and sunloungers. The largest is a lagoon-style pool. For guests staying in the Star Prestige rooms, there is access to an infinity pool on the hotel’s rooftop. Kids have their own pool and there is also a mini splash park with a frog theme and two slides.

Your Board Basis
Guests can choose between either half-board or all-inclusive stays. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are snacks at set times, selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. As well as the buffet restaurant there is the Tamarindos restaurant, three themed restaurants a snack bar and a pool bar. Plus an ice cream parlour and a cafe.
Additional Activities
In the daytime, the sister hotel runs a range of fitness activities. Plus sports such as archery, boules, table tennis and volleyball. The hotel also has a playground and tennis and padel tennis courts. Spa Sensations is perfect for adults looking to unwind. It has an indoor pool, a sauna, a hammam, a whirlpool bath and massages.
Entertainment
The hotel-run kid’s clubs have something for all ages. For ages 4-7 there is the Monkey Club, then for ages 8-12 there is the Dolphin Club and teens ages 13-17 have their own club in July and August. In the evenings there is an excellent entertainment programme. This includes a mini-disco, fire shows, aerial acrobatic performances, live music and more.
