A real treat for families is the Caretta Paradise in Tragaki, Zante. It features swim-up apartments and a waterpark and it is just a 5-minute walk to a beach. The hotel is also situated close to bars, shops and restaurants. It is a 7km drive to nearby Zante and just a short cab ride to Tsilivi with crazy golf and lots of bars.
Tragaki is on the north coast of the Greek Island of Zanta. It is a stark contrast from busy beaches and the island’s party towns. The airport of Zante is a 35-minute coach transfer away.
Highlights
On-site there is the main swimming pool which is geared up for sunbathing and swimming. The main attraction though is the waterpark with its colourful and stripy slides. The waterpark is great for families with something for everyone including a great range of slides and a splash park for little ones. This has a sunken pirate ship, small slides and a tipping bucket.

Your Board Basis
The board for guests at this hotel is on an all-inclusive basis. Included is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also dine at the a la carte restaurant once a week with reservations needed 24 hours in advance. Snacks are served between 11 am and 5 pm plus selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee are served between 11 am and 11 pm. The hotel also has a Burger house, a snack bar, an Italian buffet and a bar.
Additional Activities
Other facilities include a kid’s fun park which is located within the hotel grounds but is run as a separate business. There is a trampoline, a football field, playground, arcade games and more. On-site there is a handy mini-market.
Entertainment
For youngsters, there is a kid’s club and in the evening there is entertainment for all the family. This can include tribute acts, comedians, Greek nights, bingo and karaoke.
