For a luxurious break in Dubai with 13 restaurants and bars and three pools the Grand Hyatt is a great family-friendly hotel. This super-sized hotel looks like something out of a Sci-Fi film with well-kept gardens and one of the city’s biggest pools. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from La Mer Beach and the Burjuman shopping centre. It is also just a short drive to the Burj Khalifa. Dubai is an ever-evolving city and the Dubai International Airport is a 15-minute drive away.

Highlights

The main pool is a lagoon-like number that has a pair of wooden bridges and a cabana-style bar. Toddlers have a separate shaded paddling pool and there is a 20-metre indoor pool that is fitted with underwater music speakers.

Your Board Basis

At this hotel, you can choose between a bed and breakfast package, half-board or all-inclusive. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks at set times, selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Restaurant-wise there is everything from Indian cuisine to Italian pizzas and Japanese sushi. There are certainly more choices than we can list.

As well as the kids’ club children also have a playground plus there are video games and a movie theatre. The hotel also has an arcade area. Adults can enjoy a treatment at the Spa which also has a steam room and a sauna. There is also an on-site gym. For those wanting to explore there is a daily complimentary return shuttle bus which takes you to Kite Beach at Jumeirah.

Entertainment

For younger guests aged 4-12, there is a hotel-run kids’ club. In the evening there is little in the way of entertainment.
