Look what opened not so long ago zat Legoland Gardaland in Italy. This is the kind of water park I guess the UK can only dream of. But we could have one and put a roof over it, right? Or failing that maybe this is somewhere to play a future holiday to? It looks great fun and there are plenty of different areas to the waterpark.
Gardaland Legoland Water Park in Italy
To visit the Water Park at Gardaland you must purchase a combined ticket for the water park and the Legoland theme park. You can also upgrade your ticket to include the water park.
There are 8 themed areas in the water park. Once you’ve walked through the giant wave entrance gate you will arrive at the new Legoland Water Park Gardaland. The areas include:
Miniland – This is a fully-themed area made with over 4 million LEGO bricks to reproduce the most beautiful monuments that Italy has to offer. Everything has been built to scale.
LEGO River Adventure – You can personalise your own raft with colourful floating LEGO bricks while the water transports you around the lazy river.
Beach Party – This is a water splash play area on several levels. There are slides, a giant tipping bucket and more.
DUPLO Splash – This is a fun water splash area with little ones in mind. Kids will love the penguin theme.
Jungle Adventures – This area has some really fun tube slides including Jumbo Rapids, Crocodile Creek and flamingo halls.
Jungle Oasis – This is a splash pad area with fountains spurting up from the ground.
Pirate Bay – This is a great place for the family to swim, cool down or relax.
LEGO Creation Island – Here you can unleash your creativity with lots of interactive and educational activities.
Please note that many of the slides above have different height limits. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied and wear a personal flotation device.
