Hastings Beach

Hastings Beach

Hastings Beach in East Sussex is a gently sloping shingle beach with areas of sand at low tide which is great for building sand castles or paddling along the shore barefoot. Known as Pelham Beach, it sits between the beautiful Victorian pier and East Cliff by the Old Town.

The main beach backs right on the seafront road with its large range of restaurants, cafes, fish and chip shops and bars. There are loads to do for kids with rides, a boating pond, crazy golf and other attractions nearby.

Deckchairs can be hired and there’s a lifeguard patrol between the months of May and September and there are public toilets.

Thanks to Hello Sussex for this guest post.
