Leybourne Lakes Country Park
Leybourne Lakes Country Park is located near Snodland in Kent. The park first opened in 2004 and it was created from disused gravel pits that have been flooded and landscaped to make fishing and wildlife lakes.
The park covers an area of 230 acres and features a diverse range of habitats including multiple lakes, wildflower meadows, wetlands and more. It has become a popular venue with families, cyclists, walkers and water sports enthusiasts.
They run a calendar of annual events including Easter and summer holiday activities, wildlife activity days, bird and bat walks plus other family-friendly activities. There is a children’s play area located close to the cafe and a variety of walking routes. The Leybourne Lakes Watersports Centre offer stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, scuba diving and more.
