De Havilland Aircraft Museum

Museum Overview

The De Havilland Aircraft Museum is located near London Colney in Hertfordshire. It is a volunteer-run aviation museum and it is the only museum in the world to have 3 de Havilland Mosquito aircraft on display.

They have two huge hangars and most of their collection is undercover. There is a range of pre-WWII aircraft, WWII aircraft, jet aircraft, trainer aircraft and more. In the third Hangar, the Amy Johnson Hangar, you can view their volunteer restoration teams at work.

Outdoors there is an outdoor grass aircraft park with eight other aircraft. They try to make some of these available to visitors to look around when the ground is dry and firm. There are usually some cockpits you can climb in.
