Gheluvelt Park

Gheluvelt Park

Ghelulvelt Park is located a short drive north of the town centre of Worcester. It is a landscaped park with a war memorial, play area, splash pad and more.

What can you do at Gheluvelt Park?

The park itself was built as a memorial to honour those who lost their lives in the First World War. The park has two areas with a formal park to the east and an informal area that is managed for wildlife conservation to the west.

There is a splash pad at the park popular with toddlers through to early teens. It can be found in the formal park and features lots of fun water play areas with rocks. The splash pad is open from early April until late September and is open from 11 am until 4-6 pm.

The playground has separate areas for younger and older children. It uses the very latest play technology and floor surfaces. There are also tennis courts, table tennis and outdoor gym equipment.
