Ambleside Climbing Wall

Ambleside Climbing Wall is an indoor climbing centre located in Ambleside, Cumbria. They also offer outdoor climbing in the heart of the Lake District for all from beginners to experts led by qualified instructors.

The centre runs three different sessions for kids. There is Team Ambleside for ages 8+. This is for young climbers who have mastered basic safety and are serious about improving their climbing skills. There are the Ambleside Vertical Ninjas for ages 7+ that again are for the more experienced young climbers. Plus Ambleside Ninja Monkeys for children aged 6+. These sessions will help them learn about the basics of climbing.

The climbing wall regularly has its routes changed. Outdoor activities include Ghyll Scrambling, Navigation and outdoor climbing taster sessions. These have various minimum age restrictions.
