Carding Mill Valley

Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd is a part of the countryside in Shropshire owned by the National Trust. It is a heath and moorland plateau that forms part of the Shropshire hills. Some of which have been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
What is there to do at Carding Mill Valley?
You can enjoy a bracing walk, a challenging mountain bike ride, a wild swim or just take in the views. There are so many amazing views to see the National Trust has listed them all in their things to do section for this area.
There are a great number of trails to explore with the top five walking trails listed on their website. There is a 5-mile Burway loop, a 2.8-mile Lightspot waterfall walk, a 0.5 New Pool Hollow walk and a 1.5-mile Pipe Walk. Plus a challenging 10-mile circular walk and the Long Mynd classic cycle trail for experienced mountain bike riders.
