Tudor World

Tudor World

Tudor World is an interactive attraction located in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. It is in a beamed building with exhibits that bring the 16th century to life just metres from the RSC.

Things to do at Tudor World

They use historical settings to tell the secret lives of the Tudors and what life was really like during the time of William Shakespeare. It is suitable for all ages although there are some scarier aspects to the museum that you may wish to warn children about such as figures and atmospheric lighting.

Around the museum, there are touchscreens, videos, smells to try and a feast to sit at. Plus a throne to sit on and a four-poster bed to lie on. You can also take part in a written witch trail or try your hand at quill writing in the school room.

They also host a couple of tours – one with Shakespeare through the town and another is a ghost tour after the museum is closed and the lights are switched off.
