Hartcliffe City Farm
Hartcliffe City Farm is located in Bristol and it provides a place for local people to visit, learn, work and volunteer. They have a small selection of farm animals including goats, pigs, chickens and guinea pigs. These are kept for therapeutic and educational purposes plus for food production. Also around the site, there are market gardens. These produce food which is served in the cafe trailer or they go into local veg boxes. Volunteers help grow crops while learning about food production.
They are also home to a flower farm which produces local blooms that are grown without chemicals. There are also plans for a new playground as the current one is no longer usable. Plus they are hoping to have a wider range of animals, once they have built more pens.
