Dame Emily Park

Dame Emily Park is a small park located in the Southville area of Bristol. It is a historic urban park which is well known for its skatepark, The Deaner. The park is named after Emily Smyth of Ashton Court and it was created on the site of Dean Lane Colliery after its closure in 1906.
There is a dog-free playground recommended for children up to the age of 10. There is a zip wire for older children. The skatepark is suitable for BMXs, skateboards and scooters. Other facilities include a basketball court and a community garden.
