Things to do at Mendips Raceway

The Raceway first opened in 1969 and is situated in the Mendip Hills. The tarmac track is unique with an up and downhill section for fast and thrilling racing. There is a high-spectator banking area with tremendous views. All parts of the track are visible and guests can enjoy a picnic on the banks.

Fixtures vary throughout the year with a wide range of events, to attend. There is some playground equipment for the younger visitors and for those with disabilities, there is a reserved area where you can watch the action in comfort.

The track is 350m in length and a variety of different types of cars are raced. Some cars are allowed contact where drivers may push each other out of the way to gain position and some are strictly non-contact. Most meetings will feature three different types of car racing between three and six races each. Events are never cancelled so will take place come rain or shine.
