Hestercombe House and Gardens are located in Hestercombe, Somerset. They offer four centuries of garden design across 50 acres. The house is also open to the public with a gallery on the first floor.

What is there to do at Hestercombe House and Gardens?/

You can explore the large gardens. There is a Georgian landscape garden which was designed in the 1750s, a Victorian shrubbery and Edwardian formal gardens from the early 1900s. There is also a natural play area for children.

The spectacular Great Cascade is the dramatic centrepiece of the gardens and there are two tranquil ponds perfect for relaxing next to. Garden buildings include a Gothic Alcove, Temple Arbour, the Witch House and a Mausoleum plus a restored 17th-century water mill. There is also an impressive Orangery, a fragrant Rose Garden and some wonderful views.

They run a range of engaging family-friendly events, from wild crafts and trails to outdoor theatre and holiday activities. There is also a play area for under 7s with a little slide and playhouses.
