Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre

The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is a museum located in Craven Arms, Shropshire. You can also explore their 30-acre meadow and meet their Mammoth in the exhibition.
What is there to do at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre?
The centre is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Their exhibition, the Shropshire Hills through time, takes a look at the surrounding area throughout history. There is a rotunda cinema which shows an outstanding panoramic film soaring over the hills, towns and rivers of the surrounding landscape.
Also in the exhibition, there is a much-loved replica skeleton of the fully grown male mammoth that was found less than 20 miles away. This replica is one of only two in the UK. There are also interactives and games for all the family to enjoy.
Outdoors you can explore the surfaced paths of the meadows with access to the fields and ponds plus unsurfaced paths that explore further. The surfaced path provides a half-mile circuit, this can be boggy in places in wet weather. There is a range of wild play equipment spaced around the paths.
