Walesby Forest

Walesby Forest is located in Walesby near Newark, Nottinghamshire. It has been open to visitors since 1938 and it is an International Outdoor Adventure Activity Centre set in over 250 acres of forest.

What is there to do at Walesby Forest?

They offer over 30 adventure activities and they also have accommodation options for visitor groups. Families can book one of their Family Activity Packages which gives you the chance to experience 2 hours’ worth of activities for up to 5 people. They can even host your child’s birthday party.

Most of their activities have age restrictions. Activities include outdoor climbing for ages 5+, air rifles for ages 8+, kayaking for ages 8+ and archery for ages 7+. There is a 3G swing for ages 8+, abseiling also for ages 8+, an assault course for ages 7+ and body boarding for ages 5+.

Plus there are Candian canoes for ages 8+, a cave maze for ages 5+, frisbee golf for ages 5+, indoor climbing for ages 5+, laser tag for ages 5+, low ropes for ages 5+, swimming for ages 5+ and so much more.
