The Watercress Line

The Watercress Line formerly known as Mid Hants Railway is a heritage steam railway located in New Alresford, Hampshire. It is an ideal family day out with events, throughout the year.

Non-event trains leave from either Alresford or Alton stations, your ticket allows you all-day travel. You will experience the nostalgic sights, sounds and smells as you travel through 10 miles of Hampshire countryside, adjacent to the South Downs National Park.

With all-day travel, you can visit all four heritage stations and their historic towns.
