Breamore House

Breamore House is an Elizabethan Manor house situated close to the village of Breamore in Hampshire. It is open to visitors from April until October.

Things to do at Breamore House

The house was completed in 1583 and sits at the heart of the estate. On one side of the house, there is a pristine forest and to the other grass parkland that stretches to the New Forest. Visits to see inside the house are by guided tour only.

Their experienced guides take small groups around the house explaining the stories behind each room and many hidden details. You will see the staterooms, intimate living quarters, social spaces and functional rooms.

At a separate cost, you can also visit the Country Museum at Breamore. It is a post-war village museum that showcases staged sets that depict traditional village life. This includes a dairy, blacksmiths, a school, a village cottage and more. There is also an impressive collection of tractors and steam engines. This is located a short walk from the house and is set within the old walled garden.
