Tandle Hill Country Park is located in Royton, Greater Manchester. It is the area’s oldest country park and has 48 hectares of parkland with woodland and grassland.

From the park, you can enjoy views across the Manchester Plain and the Pennine Hills. The site is designated as a Site of Biological Importance for its fungi and bird populations. There is a children’s play area in the park with sand play and a basket swing.

It is a great place for bird watching and to have a go at pond dipping. There are walking and cycling trails with numerous trails and paths. A permanent orienteering course is available within the park and you can download walks from their website.
