Hollingworth Lake Country Park

Hollingworth Lake Country Park is located near Littleborough, Greater Manchester. It is home to the Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre and is an award-winning tourist destination. It was originally built as the main water source for the Rochdale Canal but was later developed as a tourist resort in the 1860s.

It is a much-loved beauty spot which offers a wide range of facilities for all ages. You can soak in the scenery, take a picnic, take part in watersports and spot wildlife in the nature reserve. It is also a lovely place to enjoy a walk around the picturesque lake. The watersports centre also has boats to hire and they run boat trips around the lake in warmer weather.
