King Georges Playing Fields Romford
The King George’s Playing Fields are located in Romford, Essex. It is a centre which offers a great array of activities for all the family to enjoy.
Outdoors on the playing fields, there is a splash pad with fountains which is great for kids on a hot summer’s day. It features water jets, fountains, sidewinders, directional jets and a cylinder spray. Sessions last for 25 minutes and it is only open when the temperature outside is 15oC or higher. There is also a fun adventure playground with slides and lots to climb on. It has been designed for the over 8s and there is a lot to explore. Sessions are 55 minutes long.
Indoors there is TAGactive which is a game-based indoor obstacle course. Within the arena, there are a number of challenges all of which have a number of Tags within them that you must tap with a sensor on your wrist. There is a minimum height of 1.2 metres to be able to take part.
There is also a large, two-storey soft play area with separate areas for toddlers, and older children. Plus there is a sensory room with sessions split between SEN users and babies up to the age of 18 months.
