Golden Hind Museum Ship

The Golden Hind Museum Ship is located in the harbour at Brixham, Devon. It is a full-sized replica of the ship that Captain Sir Francis Drake circumnavigated the world with between 1577 and 1580.
What is there to do at The Golden Hind Museum Ship?
You can step aboard the replica boat and explore the five decks of this Tudor galleon. The ship has been a permanent feature of the picturesque harbour of Brixham for over fifty years now and has been featured on many TV programmes and films.
Families can enjoy visiting a real-life ‘pirate ship and learn more about the fascinating history of the original boat’s explorations around the world. The boat inside has been set up to look as realistic as possible and how it would have looked when there was a crew living on board – you can even stay overnight on board the ship yourselves.
