Bygones Torquay is a recreated Victoria Street with a Model railway and a replica wartime trench located in Torquay, Devon. It is situated close to Babbacombe Model Village so you could certainly combine your day out with a visit here.

What is there to do at Bygones Torquay?

Inside you can walk free, ly through a wide variety of interactive displays with over 2000 genuine artefacts from yesteryear. These include medals that were once worn with pride, uniforms, perfume bottles and more. There are genuine items in their shops including ration books, shoes and hand-crafted toys.

There are three floors full of pure nostalgia and you will be able to see, smell and hear the bustle of 100 years of history. The museum has 15 Victorian shops and 8 period rooms. The model rail is 28 feet in length and has a miniature steam train. Plus a ‘high-street’ of shop displays.
