Zip Trek Adventure Park
The Zip Trek Adventure Park is located near Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands. It is made up of 14 zip wires and it is a great day out for adventurous families. You will take an exhilarating ride through a stunning pine forest on the Alvie Estate in the heart of the Cairngorms. You can choose from their classic Zip Trek or their new self-guided Zip Adventure.
With 14 zip wires across a 2km course, the classic Zip Trek is suitable for children and adults from the age of 8 (8-12-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult). You will fly high over a stunning river gorge with zips starting gently and ending on their longest and fastest wires with the final zip stretching for 550m and reaching speeds of 40mph.
The Zip Adventure is for the more independent zipper. There are twenty-one self-guided wires with a permanently connected safety system that lets you zig-zag over the forest, river and Alvie Gorge. You will zip over spectacular waterfalls and skim past rocky cliffs during your adventure. Children and adults can take part from the age of 10. They also run a full summer programme of activities which can include a gorge walk or white water rafting.
