Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition

The Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition is located at Drumnadrochit at Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It features state-of-the-art exhibitions about the geological formation of Loch Ness and its legendary monster.
Opened by Sir Ranulph Fiennes the centre takes visitors through seven themed areas that explore the loch from its beginnings to the third millennium. The centre features many accounts and some classic photography including the hoaxes and illusions of the monster in the Loch.
There is a highly effective mix of lasers, digital projections and special effects that chart the history of the monster, its folklore and the various research projects carried out on the loch. It also reveals the discoveries of that research including the environmental fingerprints left in the loch’s sediment layers by both nature and mankind.
