Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre
The Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre is located near St Columb, Cornwall. It is a family-friendly day out with lots of attractions from pony rides to fairground rides with something for everyone. Located in the beautiful countryside they are easy to access from the A30/A39 and are just 20 minute drive from Newquay. The site was once a farm so they recommend suitable footwear when visiting. There is also a camping and static caravan area.
Once you have purchased your tickets you can return as much as you like over the next 12 months (subject to opening days). On-site there is a 1902 Merry-Go-Round, classic Dodgems, vintage cars and a little train. They also have animals including Shetland ponies, alpacas, llamas, miniature pigs, goats and Shire horses. You can purchase small bags of animal food so that you can feed some of their animals.
Indoors there is a 10,000-square-foot play barn. This has a vertical drop slide, wavy Astra mat slides and a UV-enchanted wood that offers a spooky play setting. Plus there are playhouses, a castle and ride-on cars. There is also an area for under 2s.
You can go on a tractor ride on their Fordson Major tractor affectionately known as Ted. The tractor departs from the platform several times a day. You can enjoy a row around the lake, there are pedal go-karts on a track and kids can enjoy a pony ride from the age of 3 to 15. They even have a 9-hole crazy golf course.
