The Blue Planet Aquarium is located at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire. It is a marine and freshwater aquarium, that was first opened by the Queen in 1998. It was once the largest aquarium in the UK.

Inside you can take a walk through their famous underwater shark tunnel which is the longest in the UK. You can learn all about fish and creatures from around the world including the Amazon rainforest, corals and chillier climates. There are rock pools, caiman crocodiles and more.

Today you can see all manner of talks during your visit. These include a pelican talk, an aqua-theatre show and an octopus talk and feed. Outside you can see their squadron of Dalmatian Pelicans plus there is a nature walk. Next to the pelicans, you will find an outdoor play area.
