Southport Pleasureland

Southport Pleasureland is located on the seafront in Southport, Merseyside. It is an amusement park that was first opened in 1913 and was originally under the ownership of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Sadly there are no longer any original features from the 1913 park due to a series of fires and closures. It has seen a lot of recent rebranding and there are some big plans in place for the future.

There are a number of rides for younger children such as a caterpillar coaster, balloon ride, canoes, carousel and more. Some of their rides have height restrictions. Their bigger rides included dodgems, flying swings, bouncing frogs, and more.

There is a fun ghost train ride, Grand Canyon train, fun house, log flume, waltzers and more. Some of their rides do change so please check their website for an up-to-date ride list. Other fun things to do include a maze, a miniature railway a land train, stalls and face painting. The park also hosts annual events, such as Halloween parties and more.
