The Cadies and Witchery Tours
The Cadies and Witchery Tours are award-winning walking tours of Edinburgh’s Old Town. They invite you to join the fearless phantoms for a suspenseful and light-hearted outdoor tour.
Step back in time where the Capital’s grisly past is brought vividly to life. They run two tours. The Ghosts and Gore tour is a gentle evening walk where you will meet some frightful but friendly ghosts who have plenty of time to chat. Costumed ghostly characters are employed to appear at inopportune times in an attempt to surprise you. Some people say their tours are scary, others not. This tour lasts for 80 minutes.
The second tour on offer is the Greyfriars cemetery tour. This is an afternoon stroll full of surprisingHistorical, tales in Edinburgh’s most famous graveyard with no pesky ghosts interrupting. This tour lasts for 90 minutes. The tours first started in 1985 and since then have been scaring people from all over the world.
Their tours are open to all ages. Even young children are very rarely upset by their ghost antics. However they do advise parental discretion if you think your child is of a particularly nervous disposition.
