Edinburgh International Climbing Arena
The Edinburgh International Climbing Area is located in Newbridge. It is built into quarry walls and includes a Clip n Climb, bouldering room, soft play and a gym. Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh it is one of Europe’s largest indoor climbing centres. It is also home to Scramble’s soft play area.
They welcome all climbing abilities with a range of climbing lessons for all ages and abilities on offer. Their arena is a lead climbing paradise and features a total of 62 lead climbing lines. You can climb with confidence with the rope always above you.
There is a clip n’ climb area for those aged 4 and over. No two challenges are alike and there is a great range of walls to challenge all levels and ages. For the adventurous, there is a verticle drop slide for anyone over 1.2m in height. Scrambles is their soft play venue with a large separate baby area. There are playframes for 18 months to 3 years and 4-10 year-olds. They also have a specially designed party room.

Clip n’ climb adults £18, children £14. Soft play varies according to when you visit and the session length. For example, 3-10-year-olds are £7.20 for a 60-minute session at peak time. Prices for climbing also vary.
