Alderford Lake is located near Whitchurch in Shropshire. They are a great destination for family summer fun with their incredible 120-person aquapark plus paddleboard hire.

What is there to do at Alderford Lake?

The lake is open all year round for water-based activities. You can self-launch or hire stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. They also offer lessons and they have some fun Aquabikes for ages 8 and over.

Plus there is the Aquapark which is open from early April on weekends and school holidays until September. This is an inflatable course with an epic 3.8m inflatable tower. The minimum age to take part is 6 years old and children aged 6-12 will need an adult with them. All participants must be able to swim 25m confidently.

Another fun activity at Alderford Lake is Escape Islands. This is an Escape Room like you have never experienced before. You will take a voyage across the lake to uncover mysteries and find your way back to shore. There are four different challenges to choose from which suit different age ranges.

The venue also has a brand-new indoor roller rink. The roller rink is open from early April every weekend and school holidays until early September. It is located next to Lakeside takeaway and bar. Sessions last for 50 minutes and skate hire is included in the price.
