Alexandra Park Hastings

Alexandra Park is located in Hastings, Sussex. It opened in 1864 and it now occupies around 109 acres of the town. It is Hasting’s largest formal park and is Grade II listed.

The park consists of lower formal gardens and there are more wild wooded areas to the north. It is famed for its arboretum and it has one of the best collections of trees in the UK. There are also some large bodies of water where coarse fishing is permitted on some but not all of them.

Facilities in the park include a cafe, tennis and putting. There is a multi-use games area, playgrounds and a pavilion. Plus a miniature railway and pathways for enjoying a leisurely walk. Cycling is not permitted in the park.
