Discover the pristine beauty of Alnmouth Beach, nestled along the stunning Northumberland coast in the UK. With its unspoiled golden sands, rolling dunes, and captivating azure waters, Alnmouth Beach offers a serene and picturesque escape for beach enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
The beach is perfect for families as when the tide is at certain points it creates a shallow patch of water that’s safe for toddlers to paddle in away from the tide.
Alnmouth Beach stands apart from bustling tourist destinations, providing visitors with a tranquil haven to unwind and connect with the natural surroundings.
The beach serves as an ideal starting point to explore the charming village of Alnmouth. Wander through its enchanting lanes lined with quaint cottages and vibrant gardens, immersing yourself in its idyllic atmosphere. A leisurely stroll along the river estuary is a must, allowing you to savour the fresh sea breeze and take in the scenic vistas that unfold before you.
For those seeking a delightful treat, local shops offer tempting options, including ice cream which is a must on a sunny day.
Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or an exploration of the picturesque village, this coastal paradise promises a memorable experience that will linger in your heart long after you depart. It really is something to be seen.
Top tips – parking can be a challenge so leave plenty of time and there aren’t many toilets about. Last time we went we had to go to the local golf club just up from the beach to use their loos!
