Alpine Snowsports Centre Southampton
Alpine Snowsports Centre Southampton is located outside of the city centre and is surrounded by 150 acres of green and open spaces.
Its artificial surface is great for skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Donutting, or tubing, is 1-hour session riding down the slop in an inflatable ring. Children can take part from the age of 6. For younger children aged 3-8, they have sledging available on their learner slope. They can even host your child’s birthday party.
You can learn to ski at the centre and all their instructors are fully qualified. With no experience needed, they will help you to build your confidence and get you flying down the slope in no time. They run a variety of lessons including junior lessons and private tuition. You can also use the slope on a recreational basis once you know how to ski. Snowboarding lessons and sessions are run in pretty much the same way.
