Anker Wood and Maze World at Dobbies

Anker Wood and Maze World are located at Dobbies Garden Centre in Atherstone, Warwickshire. It features 6 mazes, a petting zoo, a playground and a nature trail.

At the centre, there are alpacas you can meet plus pigs, goats, guinea pigs, sheep and ponies. At Mazeworld you will find the UK’s largest collection of permanent mazes with six themed mazes themed around the continents. There is a Canadian hedge maze, a traditional English Hedge Maze and an Antarctic Labyrinth made out of over 600 white stones. Plus a Japanese Trellis maze created from 400 panels and climbing plants. An African Reed fence maze shaped like a rhino’s horn and an Australian Wooden Pole maze featuring eucalyptus plants.

As well as the playground there is also a Treetop trail. From the trail, you can enjoy some fantastic views. It’s also a great place to enjoy a picnic. There is a cafe with a small soft play area.
