Arley Hall and Gardens
Arley Hall is a country house in the village of Arley, Cheshire. The house is Grade II listed and there is plenty for families to do. The Playzone at Arley Hall is aimed at children up to the age of 10. There is a zip wire, sandpit, swings, slides and more. There’s also a willow dome that makes the perfect den in the woods. You can also take a ball and enjoy all the space that the gardens have to offer.
The gardens are full of twists and turns and their tea cottage looks like something out of a fairytale. There is also a family-friendly trail around the gardens. Plus there is a child-friendly quiz in the hall where children have to look out for clues. In the summer they also have special events, with many perfect for families.
The gardens are amongst the finest in Europe and have been created over the last 250 years by successive generations of the same family. There are 8 acres of formal gardens with different areas. Beyond the Chapel, there is a woodland walk plus other walks of varying lengths.
