Atlantic Pursuits

Atlantic Pursuits is an outdoor activity company located in Bude, Cornwall. They offer a programme of action-packed activities including family-friendly activities. With surfing and body boarding, they specialise in teaching small groups or private family groups of around 6-8 people. You are taken out with qualified beach and surf lifeguards and also qualified coaches with the ASI and Surf GB.

Surfing uses longboards and you can learn how to catch a wave and stand and ride the wave. Smaller children may prefer boogie boarding which is a much smaller board that is used in the safe swimming area. Children can learn to surf with them from the age of 5.

They also offer Canadian canoeing sessions on the local Bude canal. These can seat between 2 and 4 people. It is a great activity requiring a little bit of teamwork through an area of outstanding natural beauty. The minimum age to take part is 5 years old.
