The Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre is located in Bransgore near Christchurch in Hampshire. They are a leading outdoor learning venue which is dedicated to the continuous development of young people.

Their site features a range of accommodation options but they are also open for families to enjoy a day out. Family sessions are subject to availability by can include their high ropes course, climbing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Plus archery, pioneering, bushcraft and their adventure course. These sessions are called Family Go Adventures and these sessions last for 90 minutes.

They also host Be Outdoor Days for 8-12-year-olds which run during Spring, Summer and Autumn school holidays plus throughout the year on selected weekends. Activities may include archery, climbing, rope courses, shelter building, bushcraft and treasure hunts. Plus geocaching, mini beasts, pond dipping and more.

There are also bikes you can hire with a variety of tracks available in the New Forest. There are red and blue routes for beginners and intermediate riders. For the more experienced rider, there is a pump and gravity track plus more technical elements around the main bike trails.

They can even host your child’s birthday party and they host a number of annual events,. Self-guided activities include geocaching, orienteering, a treasure hunt and art in the environment. Packs for these activities can be downloaded from their website.
