Bagshaw Museum and Wilton Park
Set in the picturesque setting of Batley’s Wilton Park is the Bagshaw Museum. The elaborate Gothic revival mansion was converted into a museum in 1911 by Walter Bagshaw. The house and grounds were auctioned in 1909 and sold to Batley Corporation for the princely sum of £5.
