Basingstoke Canal Centre
Basingstoke Canal Centre is located in Mytchett near Camberley, Surrey. As well as running boat trips on the canal they also have an area for camping. They run public boat trips on their 12-seater boat. These take place at weekends from Easter to September. Plus they also run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during school holidays during those times. They also sometimes host a number of special trips including cream teas.
Pedalos, canoes, sit-on-top kayaks and rowing boats are available for hire at weekends from Easter to the end of September. They are open daily during the Easter, spring half-term and summer school holidays. Boat hire opening is subject to weather conditions. You can ring ahead to check if they are open and boats can be booked in advance over the phone or at reception. The towpaths are great for enjoying a walk or cycling. Please note if you are cycling on the towpath you must give way to pedestrians.
